An automated production line is a form of production organization in which the product manufacturing process is carried out by an automated machinery system. It has evolved from the further development of continuous flow lines. Its key features include: workpieces are automatically transferred from one machine tool to another, and the machine tools themselves perform operations such as machining, loading and unloading, and inspection automatically; workers’ tasks are limited to adjusting, supervising, and managing the automated line—without directly participating in the actual operations; all machinery and equipment operate at a unified rhythm, ensuring a highly continuous production process.
